The S-Waver's defining feature is its wide "S" glide action. On a steady retrieve, the lure swings from side to side in broad turns rather than wobbling like a crankbait. The hinged body and soft tail create a very natural swimming motion that resembles a cruising baitfish.

• Rod tip high: creates a waking action just under or on the surface.
• Rod tip down or slower retrieve: runs about 0–1 ft below the surface while maintaining the same S-shaped glide.
